Ok, so yeah,
THis is a close up on my sister's hair!
Her face is not shown because I'm very protective of her! She also didn't want to have her face shown.
Yeah, I'm a great sister....

Anyways,
I did her hair for this photo.
She's an Irish dancer see, and she needed her hair curly for a feis she's dancing in. I was happy to oblige to do the job....but OMG!!!
It took THREE WHOLE HOURS!!!!!!! Done with a pair of shite heated tongs that take FOREVER to heat up.
She has sooooo much hair! For someone who's sooo small! (5'2'')

My bro, Foley0311, took the photo with his phone.... hey check out his page....he needs comments from somebody....ANYBODY!!!!...just say annything!...even if his jokes aren't very funny.

Anyways,
I'm very proud of myself for accomplishing such a tremendous feat!!!There's over a hundred curls in there... I think it looks much better then those nylon Irish dancing wigs you see alot of Irish dancers wearing these days.

I deserve a medal for all this! Preferably an Irish dancing medal! So she better win!

She never wore the wig, she stopped dancing after about 12 years. She had enough of the bitching, competition and the general attitude that was required for Irish dancing. Our mother was sad that she gave it up, but it was her decision.

When I look at feis's today all I see is a 'beauty' pageant. It is still about the dancing, but I feel the importance of the skill has gotten overshadowed by layers of sequins, feathers, fake tan, tiaras, wigs, bad attitudes, and oversized trophies.

God, I know how you feel. I just stopped going to my dancing school. Not because of the dancing but because it started to turn into Dance Moms from TLC. I found one of the moms looking through my dress bag at the school feis! It was getting to be a little too much, so I quit.
Really pretty hair! I hope your sister has fun with whatever she decides to do! I wish her the best of luck!

You should just use curlers. Take them out the day of the fies. but I use a wig now. Much easier.

Wigs are so weird though! All that synthetic stuff kills the real heart of Irish dancing in my opinion. It's more like a beauty contest these days then a dancing competition.

I dont think so. Its hard to win if you dont dance well.
